I’m John Giberti, and Splintered Trader is my woodshop in Milton Mills, New Hampshire. I make handmade wood products for home and garden — pieces meant to be cooked with, sat on, planted in, and lived with.

How I work

I build in small batches and I build to order when I can. I choose lumber for character as much as consistency — a knot or a bold grain line is a feature here, not a flaw. Every piece is sanded, finished, and checked by hand before it leaves. If something I made ever fails you in normal use, get in touch. I’d rather make it right than make excuses.
